Our Great Start Readiness program offers your child a high-quality learning experience that is literacy rich and aligned to our district’s K-12 curriculum. Our preschool program teachers work with our Kindergarten staff to ensure that we are preparing our youngest students for a seamless entry to our Kindergarten classrooms.

According to Michigan Law (SB 133 (H-1) Sec. 32d) if a child residing in Wayne County is not four years of age on September 1, 2017, but will be four years of age no later than December 1, 2017 the parent or legal guardian of that child may enroll the child in preschool for the 2017‐2018 school year.

Cory School of Learning​

Pre-School education for children who are 3 years old and 4 years old. 

Four years olds who live in Romulus Community Schools district may qualify for free education through the GSRP program.


Great Start Collaborative

Nana's Corner

This is our tuition-based program for children whose families do not qualify for the state-funded program.

Classes run Monday through Thursday.

$130 for a full day with no half days.

End of Year Carnival

The Romulus Early Childhood Center students had great fun at the end of the year carnival! The event had over 200 people come and check out the different activities offered. It was certainly a fun afternoon for all that attended.
